The Design-A-Logo Challenge
Your first chance to influence Charnwood 2006

panel corner
Those familiar to Charnwood Camps will know that we generally have a logo based on some tree theme. This year, we want your help to design a logo and a catchy name for the theme for 2006 like "Celebrations" or "Through the ages".
So do you want to help us, got some good ideas already?, then read on ...

We are working on a theme to do with "Time, the last 100 years" in view of the fact that we fall between the two major Scout events in 2005 Eurojam and 2007 World Jamboree to celebrate 100 years of Scouting. Girlguiding UK will celebrate their centenary in 2010. This challenge is open to anyone in Guiding or Scouting, regardless of age or section.

The Logo is for the badge, tee shirts, letterhead paper, souvenirs, website etc. Indeed anything connected to Charnwood will show the logo, so you and your work could be famous! There will be a prize, in the form of vouchers to be redeemed against camp fees or to spend whilst on camp.

Now, you could choose a tree to depict Charnwood, or something from Leicestershire, perhaps a clock face, it could be square, round, a diamond or a triangle its up to you.
For financial reasons we do ask that you keep your designs to no more than four colours. Closing Date is 1st October 2004.

Please send entries, marked ("Charnwood 2006 Logo Challenge") direct to:
County Scout Office, Winchester Road, Blaby, Leicestershire LE8 4HN.
