In keeping with the theme of the camp our subcamp has been named after the Normans, who are most famous for their battle at Hastings in 1066.
This was the last time that England was successfully invaded and conquered by a foreign army. King Harold was killed by the Normans and
succeeded by William the Conqueror on Christmas Day.
Each subcamp has its own colour and badge. The Normans colour will be maroon and the work-in-progress draft of our badge can be seen above.

The Team
The Normans Subcamp leaders are Lynne Hill and Simon Parr; together with the subcamp team we will be here to help make your stay at Charnwood a
pleasant one. We are actively seeking to increase the number of leaders on our team. If you know anyone who wants to be part of the Normans Subcamp
